Honestly, if Diana Deaver were to document my life through photography, 50 years from now, it would appear that I had the most vibrant and beautiful life imaginable. Photo after photo that this woman produces just gets better and better! Her latest is with Charleston model, Courtney Stack…adding a twist by playing with the coloring of the photo. Props to Marta Maria for awesome make – up.

The Fstoppers, Patrick Hall and Lee Morris, have done it! With their video being uploaded only 2 days ago (it’s July 6th, everyone.), their iPhone Fashion Shoot video views are going through the roof! (Already at 40,000+ views!)

Now, some people are hating on these creative geniuses, claiming that the photo results are only due to expensive lighting and re-touching. But, let’s be honest people. You know deep down that it doesn’t have to do with the camera, but the person behind the camera, which is what Lee and Patrick are trying to point out. It seems to me that amateur photographers think that if they buy some extremely high-tech camera with all the fancy gears and gadgets, that they will produce award-winning photos. Learn from the best, youngins, and realize its not about that at all.

Check out the video below, check out their site, and give them some feedback!

He’s a newbie in Charleston…. and when I say new, I really mean it.

Only moving here from New Hampshire just recently, Antwun Whitney has already made a huge (and awesome) impression on Charleston’s fashion industry. At his first runway show ever, he won the 2010 Charleston Fashion Week “Rock the Runway” Competition….what an accomplishment!

And, here’s a shocker… below are photos from his first photo shoot ever. Photographer and talent agent of Tout Models and Talent, Robin Lee Simmons, took some quick snap shots at the old navy base, starting the first photos to his portfolio. Cracking jokes the whole time, he had Robin Lee and myself laughing for hours (he aspires to be a stand-up comic, duh!). With personality like his, and of course a great physique, I think we all know Antwun will be taking the fashion industry by storm.

This is one of the first things I read this beautiful Saturday morning, and it made me giggle…. so I figured I would share it with all the MCF readers. In case some of you don’t know, Scott Schumann is the expert Street Style photog. for his blog, The Sartorialist. Recently, he has been named as one of the “Top 100 Design Influencers” by Time Magazine.

Now, I’m trying not to be biased, but I just can’t help myself sometimes. Diana Deaver’s photography never ceases to amaze me! Therefore, I’m going to have to post yet another shoot that she worked on last week, with the beautiful models Vanessa Sandler and Camille Key. To give some credit to others that worked on the shoot… the jewelry was made by “Beaded Jewels by G”…hair was styled by Jessica O’Brien….make-up was done by Cora Wilke.
