If you’re wearing a stylish outfit out in Charleston… My Charleston Fashion Writer Rianne Mullins will find you! Below you can find photos of some trendy Charlestonistas! Check out what they’re wearing and where they got their outfits…and check back daily, because YOU might be on here next 🙂
———————————————————————————————————————–
Abby was spotted wearing a one of my favorite trends of this summer! Layered and colorful ruffles are totally in this season. We love how she kept the look simple – with that pop of color and texture in the dress, who needs much more? The dress can be bought at Willy Jay’s and her cute metallic wedges can be bought at victoriassecret.com. She threw in a classic Louis Vuitton Speedy bag which also keeps the look simple but is very functional!
Rebecca is wearing one my favorite trends from this past season… knee high boots! They are so great and versatile whether you pair them with a great pair of casual and comfortable leggings or a cute skinny jean! Rebecca paired hers with a dark wash pair of J Brand jeans. She also added some great color with this navy silk blouse by Lela Rose and bright yellow sweater by Central Park West!

Vanessa Hoffman
We spotted Vanessa outside the Copper Penny on King Street. The Copper Penny girls are always dressed to impress. Vanessa just relocated from Savannah to be the new manager of the downtown Copper Penny. Her favorite designers are DVF, Milly, BCBG, and Tibi. Today, we caught her wearing a Free People skirt, Michael Stars t-shirt, and an Ella Moss vest. We love the way she paired the heavy chain necklace to add some weight to the light tee! She paired the whole look off with a scarf from Copper Penny and a great day-to-night bag, designed by Blakely’s by Blake.

Laura Oliphant
Laura was also spotted at Copper Penny. Her favorite designers are Tibi, Trina Turk, and Milly! She was spotted wearing a great Trina Turk tunic sweater, Citizens jeans, and a great pair of boots by Ciao Bella. Her look is a great way to stay comfortable but warm in the cold weather! Her bag is also by Blakely’s by Blake. She threw in a great pop of color with the purple scarf to add some fun to the outfit!

Allie Horne
Allie was spotted wearing what appears to be a staple this season… a chunky gold bracelet watch! We love love love this one by Michael Kors. She’s dressing up her basic tee and jeans with a great scarf by Cejon and some feminine and flirty flats by Michael Kors! Also, her bag is by Tano and can be bought at Copper Penny! Allie’s over-all layered look is great for this weather! Her favorite designers are Tibi, Liquid, and Rebecca Taylor!
We’ve got our first men for our Street Chic Charlestonistas section! Kesler and Patrick know how to dress to impress in this windy weather! GUYS take note!! We love how they both paired a casual and comfortable jean with a great blazer to define a more structured look. Kesler layered up in a half zip sweater while Patrick bundled up and added a great pop of color with his yellow scarf.
Natalie Knowlton is wearing a very stylish outfit out and about in Charleston. She is wearing Free People “jeggings”, an Urban Outfitters scarf and black leather jacket, an H&M tunic and shoes from a tiny boutique in Louisiana.

Heidi Johnson
Heidi Johnson, originally from CT, but now lives in Charleston, is wearing everything from the downtown boutique, V2V. Her boots are from Steve Madden, though. Her favorite boutiques/designers are V2V and Betsey Johnson. Heidi’s style icon is Marilyn Monroe.
Athena Crofts, from Charleston, is wearing a sweater from Forever 21, and a Vince tunic and David Lerner leggings from Finicky Filly. Her favorite boutiques and designers are Finicky Filly, See by Chloe, Lula Rose and Vince. Her style icons are Rachel Bilson, Kate Beckinsale and a dash of Rihanna.
Mary-Pat Twomey, from New Jersey, is wearing a skirt and top from Banana Republic (her favorite store), a jacket from Anne Taylor Loft, and a scarf from an outdoor market in France. She was wearing this stylish outfit on her walk to work at the Center for Civic Engagement at CofC.
Nora Cox, from Charleston, is on her way to the Unitarian Cemetery to look at flowers and “be with nature.” Her leggings are from American Apparel, but the rest of her outfit is from various thrift stores. Her favorite places to shop are Repeat Boutique and Charleston Community Thrift Store.
